A Match Made in Autumn
by Jessica Booth
Rhett harbors a secret crush on autumn-loving Amelia, but one embarrassing incident in high school is enough make the two of them actively avoid one another for the rest of their lives. That is until ten years later when a dying fall festival and decades-long cold case inexplicably bring them together.
Amelia takes over the annual North Louisiana fall festival and hopes to give it new life. With the help of her best friend and coworker, Beth, and her feisty Aunt Margie, she’s well on her way to making the event one like the city has never seen before. At least she was until a meddling old woman, rumored to be the town witch, tries to sabotage it.
Rhett is a local newspaper reporter. On the heels of a broken marriage, his work is suffering and he needs a good story to pull him out of his journalistic rut. The newspaper archives lead him to the cold case of a boy who went missing 20 years prior.
When the missing boy’s story leads Rhett to the site of the city’s fall festival, Amelia and Rhett are forced to confront their embarrassing past and work together. And fate (and one very mischievous one-eyed rescue dog) wants them to be together.

"Ali Dane sold me with just three lines. She fit the very narrow parameters of what I was looking for so perfectly that I skipped an official audition and hired her on the spot. From there, she took a very difficult, emotionally complex, and unreliable narrator of a main character and delivered a sparkling performance. *I* didn't even like my main character until Ali's performance humanized her for me. Her emotional intelligence and perfectionist nature delivers phenomenal reads every time that required very minimal direction. She has spoiled my ears and will be my first choice as a narrator every time."

Praise & Reviews
"From the moment of our first phone call, Ali was exceptionally impressive. With so much care and detail, she extracted everything she needed to know about my characters, so that she could give life to them with spoken word. Through the entire process she checked in with me, making sure I was happy and comfortable with how things were progressing. She was timely, communicative, and compassionate about a project that was so dear to my heart. The finished audiobook was everything I had ever hoped it would be. Each character has their own voice that fits them perfectly. She read my words in a way that made me feel like it was my first time hearing the tale. This has been one of the best experiences of my publishing journey. I wouldn't hesitate to use her services again or recommend her to anyone looking for a narrator."

"For my first audiobook, I went with Ali Dane, and I’m so glad I did! Her audition immediately stood out among the others, perfectly tailored to the requests I’d made for my main character’s voice, and she was extremely communicative right from the beginning. She was patient with a newbie audiobook author like me, clearly laying out her entire process, having a zoom call with me to discuss my novel, and providing a perfect sample that took all my desires into consideration. Her enthusiasm for my story shined through in every narrated word, and I was beyond impressed with the final results. I’d love to work with Ali again, as she is competent, fast, detail-oriented, and an all-around lovely person!"
